I grew up on the Ohio River back in the 50's and watched these full length cabin tows run the river. The appeal to me was the full cabin with wheelhouse. My suggestion? Lose the cabin in it's tall form. Sound Sailor's pic 3 is very pleasing to my eye. A tall long cabin will more than likely make the hull decidedly wind-set.

Sound Sailor gave good advice regarding taller profiles. To my eye, pics 1, 2, & 6 show a cabin structure out of proportion (height-wise) to the hull. In picture "D", I just haven't glued on the 60 degree goose neck, it's a single smoke stack.

In pictures "A" and "B" I really haven't figured out what kind of smoke stack I want to use, stock or something a little different. I have taken quite a few pictures though. In case you were wondering, I was considering doing a build on this one but it's not a really popular model. No prizes here, I just need help with your opinion I'm kind of leaning towards one, but another looks pretty good too I'm not going to say which ones here but rather ask the opinion of those who happen to look over the next few days. I can't really make up my mind which really looks the best.
